Location: Tewkesbury / Gloucester / Cheltenham region

We are seeking a multi-skilled and experienced commercial catering equipment engineer for our market-leading solutions client. COMCAT qualifications are essential. This is an exceptional opportunity.

Our client has been established for over 30 years and is a global leader in high-quality catering infrastructure solutions. Due to continued success and strategic growth in 2024, they are recruiting an enthusiastic Catering Equipment Engineer to join their successful technical support division.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks to ensure catering equipment, kitchen units, and installations are safe and fit for purpose.
• Understand the operation and criticality of all catering equipment within the hire fleet and business.
• Identify and resolve technical issues with equipment and installations.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean and stocked working area.
• Travel to site for repairs or commissioning of equipment and installations.
• Support the Technical Support Department as required.

To qualify, you must hold a full UK driving license and have at least 3 years of mechanical and electrical experience in a commercial environment, with excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Qualifications required include CCCN1 (or CCN1 and COCATA1), COMCAT1, COMCAT3, COMCAT5, CONGLP1 PD, CENWAT, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, with F-gas and G 18th Edition electrical qualifications being advantageous.
