Join Abbott as a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer in our Development Engineering group in Witney. Contribute to innovative projects in the healthcare sector, focusing on glucose monitoring systems like Freestyle Libre.
Your main responsibilities include providing C&I engineering expertise, contributing to product development from initiation to manufacturing, designing control systems, sourcing and testing instrumentation, and characterising equipment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions that improve lives.
Qualifications include at least HNC level or higher in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering. Experience with PLC (Siemens S7), HMI, Motion Control, Vision Systems, Instrumentation, and PID control systems is essential. Additional skills in databases are a plus. Electronics and Electrical experience are advantageous, but priority is given to those with Controls/Programming expertise.
