Job summary

United Response in Torquay seeks an Employability Tutor (Catering) to deliver training and support programmes, helping participants gain catering skills in a real working environment and mentoring people with additional needs.

You’ll deliver education and work-related activities one-to-one and in groups, supporting young people aged 16 to 24, including EHCP holders and those facing barriers to employment in hospitality and catering.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of catering experience.
• Ability to teach, coach and inspire.
• Understanding of challenges entering the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and support programmes to facilitate progression.
• Tutor and mentor participants in hospitality tasks (cooking, baking, customer service).
• Support 16–24 year olds with EHCPs and complex needs to access employment.
