Assist in the daily preparation of food for a variety of meal plans at various establishments across East Ayrshire. This role supports the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives, specifically related to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or have an existing membership, with a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment is made. PVG records are constantly updated; any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.
