Job summary

Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We recruit for a Catering Assistant to support our kitchen in basic food preparation and deliver excellent service during the lunchtime rush.

You will handle tills during service, provide friendly service to students and staff, and help keep the kitchen clean and compliant with health and safety standards. DBS disclosure will be sought.

Qualifications

• Team player who thrives in a busy school catering team.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction at tills during service with full training.
• Provide friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and comply with Health & Safety.
