Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd. is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We are looking for a Catering Assistant to support our kitchen in basic food preparation and deliver excellent service during lunchtimes.

You will work Monday to Friday during school terms for 20 hours per week over 38 weeks, with full training provided. DBS disclosure is required; training and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is nice-to-have; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer interactions at tills during service with full training provided.
• Provide friendly, front-line service to students and staff.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment in line with Health and Safety standards.
