Job summary

Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team. You will serve customers, take hot and cold drinks orders, and assist with basic food preparation while upholding high kitchen hygiene standards.

You’ll work in a supportive front-of-house environment with training provided for food hygiene. The role offers generous benefits, including 35 days leave, pension, enhanced maternity/sick pay, on-site parking and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering/front of house environment.
• Food hygiene Level 1 desirable, training provided.
• Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and take hot and cold drinks orders.
• Assist in basic food preparation (sandwiches, salads, and fresh cakes).
• Clear and wash kitchen utensils; load/unload dishwasher.
• Take payment and maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
