Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support several school sites across Hartlepool, Fishburn and Timdon Area. The role operates Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks) with shifts totaling 16 hours weekly and mileage paid for travel between sites.

Applicants should have strong customer service and be comfortable working across multiple campuses. You will handle food preparation, serve in a friendly manner, operate the till, and ensure cleanliness and safety in all

About The Role

Job Title: Mobile Catering Assistant

Location: Covering schools in the Hartlepool, Fishburn and Timdon Area

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: Mon- Thurs 10.15am-1.30pm Friday 10.30-1.30 (16 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time)

Pay Details: £8,541.12 per #salaryper## (Milege paid at £0.45 per mile) You will need access to your own transport.

What Will I Be Doing?

This is a Catering Assistant role working across a small portfolio of schools. You won't be based at just one school—you'll be supporting multiple sites. Travel between schools will be paid, and you'll always be advised in advance which sites you'll be covering.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all students.
• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• Deliver excellent counter service and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
