OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a General Assistant to support kitchen operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and help manage deliveries and storage. You may also serve customers and assist at events, with opportunity to top up vending services.

The role requires good time management and the ability to stand for long periods. Right to Work in the UK is essential; training for food hygiene and catering can be provided.

Qualificações

• Commercial kitchen experience is valued but not essential.
• A basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling or equivalent is desired but not essential as we can provide this for you.
• Excellent time management skills and can work under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills are important.
• Can stand for extended periods is often necessary due to the physical nature of the job.

Responsabilidades

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, organise storage
• Serve food items to customers according to the menu; may host/waiter at events
• Top up vending services
