Job summary

Ingoldisthorpe Primary in Kings Lynn is seeking a Catering Assistant to join Norse Catering, delivering lunches during term time on a permanent part-time basis, 11:00–14:00, Monday to Friday.

You will assist with food preparation and serving, maintain high hygiene standards, and set up service areas; DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.

The role pays £12.71 per hour (£25,777.12 pro-rata) for 15 hours per week.

• Previous catering experience is desirable.
• Extensive induction and training programmes provided.

This is a split role to start at Dersingham Primary then deliver the meals to Ingoldisthorpe primary then serve the meals at this school .

As we continue to deliver our key frontline services across the region, we are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to work on-site at Ingoldisthorpe primary . This position is being offered on a permanent, part time basis, working Monday to Friday, 11:00-14:00 Term-Time only.

A day in the life:

You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting with the preparation and serving of lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

Upholding our high level of hygiene and cleanliness is vital which includes setting up service areas from the kitchen or dining areas, so they are ready to enjoy mealtimes and tidying away once service is completed.
