Renacres Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a high standard of catering service as part of the support services team. Experience is not essential, as we will provide all necessary training. However, previous experience in a fast-paced environment to high standards will be beneficial. If you possess excellent communication and customer service skills and are looking for a challenge, this role is for you. Be versatile and ready to take on additional challenges as you develop in this key position.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors.
2. Assist in the preparation and service of food.
3. Clean all areas of the catering department daily to the standard required.
4. Understand and adhere to current health and hygiene regulations in food preparation and service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (training will be provided if not already held).
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and service excellence.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, outgoing personality.
• A keen eye for detail and attention to detail.
