Renacres Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a high standard of catering service as part of the support services team. Experience is not essential, as we will provide all necessary training. However, prior experience in a fast-paced environment maintaining high standards would be advantageous.

If you possess excellent communication and customer service skills, are seeking a challenge, and are versatile and proactive, this key role offers great development opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors.
2. Assist in the preparation and service of food.
3. Clean all areas of the catering department daily to the standard required.
4. Understand and adhere to current health and hygiene regulations in food preparation and service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (company-funded training available if not held).
• Willingness to work positively with a team to achieve goals and deliver excellent service.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Keen eye for detail and high attention to detail.
