Renacres Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a high standard of catering service as part of the support services team. Experience is not essential, as we will provide all necessary training. However, prior experience in a fast-paced environment to high standards will be beneficial. If you possess excellent communication and customer service skills and are seeking a new challenge, this role offers opportunities for development. Be versatile and willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors.
  2. Assist in the preparation and service of food.
  3. Clean all areas of the catering department daily to the standard required.
  4. Understand and adhere to current health and hygiene regulations in food preparation and service.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (company-funded training available if not already held).
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively to achieve team goals and deliver excellent service.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Keen attention to detail.
