Thomas Franks invites applications for a General Assistant at our Glasgow location. You will join a busy catering team serving breakfast, lunch and beverages, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

This full-time permanent role suits those with prior experience in fast-paced catering, strong team spirit and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Shift timings 08:00–14:30, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 food Hygiene qualification.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills; experience in customer/food prep environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning.
• Prepare service areas for daily meals.
• Set up, serve, clear and store away food, beverages or equipment for functions.
