Job summary

Willen Hospice in Northamptonshire seeks a Catering Assistant to join its Catering Team. You will serve customers, take drink orders, and assist in preparing items like sandwiches, salads and cakes. You may clear work areas, handle payments, and ensure kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

The role requires a friendly, flexible approach with experience in catering or front-of-house settings. A Food Hygiene Level 1 certificate is desirable, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering/front of house environment.
• Food hygiene level 1 desirable, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and take hot and cold drinks orders.
• Assist in basic food preparation such as sandwiches, salads and cakes.
• Clear and wash kitchen utensils, load/unload dishwasher.
• Take payments for food and maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
