Job summary

BaxterStorey at Perkins Engines, Tixall Road, Stafford, ST16 3UB, is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for a 20-hour week role. You will assist with food service, support customer experience, and help keep the kitchen and service areas clean and safe.

The position offers a National Living Wage, with benefits and development opportunities as part of the Perkins team. Training in basic food hygiene is available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Food Service: Assist with the preparation, portioning and presentation of food items; serve customers and maintain service standards; set up and clear counters.
• Customer Experience: Provide friendly, professional customer service; respond to queries; keep a welcoming environment.
• Operational Support: Assist with basic food prep under supervision; support break times and events; follow all procedures including allergen labelling.
• Cleaning & Hygiene: Carry out daily kitchen/service cleaning; wash up utensils; maintain high personal hygiene and uniform standards.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: Follow food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures; report hazards or incidents; comply with company policies.
