Job summary

NHS Western Isles is seeking a Catering Assistant (Band 2) to join our team. The role is permanent and part-time at 19.73 hours per week, pro rata, with annual salary between £26,696 and £28,988 plus a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 (pro rata).

Key duties include food preparation, service at counters, and maintaining high cleanliness throughout the department. Applicants should have good communication skills and a flexible approach. Closing date: 01/10/2026.
