Job summary

BaxterStorey is recruiting for a part-time role at Perkins Engines, Stafford, ST16 3UB, working 20 hours per week. The position offers a National Living Wage and a friendly, team‑oriented environment focused on fresh food service and customer care.

You will assist with food service, maintain hygiene standards, support meal periods and ensure a positive guest experience in a busy hospitality setting. Training is provided to develop basic food hygiene and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Food Service: assist with preparation, portioning and presentation of food items; serve customers politely; set up and replenish service counters.
• Customer Experience: provide friendly, professional service; respond to queries; maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Operational Support: assist with basic food preparation; support break times and events; follow allergen management and labeling procedures.
• Cleaning & Hygiene: daily kitchen/service cleaning; wash up equipment; maintain high personal hygiene standards.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: follow food safety and HACCP procedures; report hazards or incidents; comply with policies.
