Job summary

BaxterStorey UK is looking for a Front of House Catering Restaurant Assistant in Methley. This role is 21 hours per week, 9.00am–4.30pm, 3 days over 7, at £12.99 per hour, to support the catering service and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure food quality, hygiene, customer service, and operational efficiency while complying with client requirements and company policies. Experience is preferred but not essential, with opportunities for development within our contract

• Experience preferred but not essential
• Previous experience preferred in catering or hospitality would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist and support catering staff during daily service.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist with cash handling and daily reporting where required.
• Help achieve financial targets and minimise waste.
