Thomas Franks Ltd. in Cambridge is seeking a General Assistant for a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week in a UK-based catering environment serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The role supports a fast-paced operation with a focus on customer service and food safety.

You will join a team dedicated to high-quality food and hospitality, with opportunities for training and progression within a well-established contract caterer. DBS checks and Right to Work in the UK are required.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a level 2 food Hygiene qualification.
• Reasonable/verbal English communication required.
• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve customers, replenish stocks, and keep areas clean.
• Prepare service areas for daily meal service.
• Set up, serve, clear, clean and store food, beverages, and equipment for events.
• Prepare basic food following hygiene standards.
• Restock during service and anticipate customer needs.
• Dispose of rubbish and recycle properly.
• Occasional evenings or weekends for functions or school events.
• Maintain food standards and minimize wastage.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies, including allergen control.
