Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a General Assistant - Catering for Doddington Court in Cambridgeshire. The role involves assisting with meal preparation and service for residents within a calm, well-organised kitchen environment.

You will work 16 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, contributing to nutritious meals and a positive dining experience. The position offers not-for-profit values, funded training, and flexible working options in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with general cleaning duties (desirable).
• Some experience in a domestic or catering environment.
• Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering, or willingness to work towards.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare meals and drinks while following food hygiene standards.
• Support customers and colleagues to deliver a high standard of service.
• Keep kitchens, communal areas, and flats clean and tidy.
• Report any faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely.
