Derbyshire Catering Service is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support the Calow Primary School kitchen. You will work as part of a dedicated team, assisting with food preparation, cooking and service at Calow Primary, North Road, Calow, Chesterfield.

The role requires adherence to food hygiene and safety regulations and a positive, school-friendly attitude. Successful applicants will have an NVQ food hygiene certificate on appointment and be prepared to work at either production or servery

Qualifikationen

• NVQ food hygiene certificate required on appointment.
• Experience in school or catering environment preferred.
• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene regulations.

Catering Assistant (Calow Primary School)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.

You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service at

Calow Primary, North Road, Calow, Chesterfield, S44 5BD. This may involve working at a production unit or at a servery unit. Possible tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service.

Our Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed.

We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.

Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment.
