Job summary

Erskine Veterans Charity is seeking a Catering Assistant for Erskine Home in Bishopton on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover sickness. The role is part-time (28.75 hours per week) across 5 days, with shifts between 7.00am and 7.00pm. Grade 1 salary of £20,897–£20,913 per annum, plus benefits. Closing date 28 October 2026.

You will support safe, high-quality catering, maintain hygiene, and help provide a positive dining experience for residents, staff and visitors.

Grade 1 Salary £20,897 - £20,913 per annum (£13.98 - £13.99 per hour)

The Role:

To support the delivery of a safe, clean and high-quality catering service for residents, staff and visitors. The role focuses on maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with food service, and working as part of a team to ensure a positive dining experience.The post holder will work under supervision and always follow established procedures and instructions.
