Job summary

Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School is seeking a permanent General Catering Assistant for 15 hours to join our school catering team. Duties include washing up, kitchen cleaning and general kitchen duties.

You will need to be diligent, efficient and professional, and work well as part of the team under the direction of our catering manager. Training can be provided if you have prior experience in schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering is preferable but training can be given.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a catering team under supervision.
• Willingness to learn health and safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Washing up and cleaning of kitchen areas.
• General kitchen duties as required by the catering team.
• Support the catering staff in daily operations and food service.
