Job summary

Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton is recruiting a reliable Catering Assistant on a temp-permanent basis to join the busy catering department, helping to provide high-quality food and service to patients, staff and visitors.

This on-site NHS role offers Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm (37.5 hours), with pay of £12.71 per hour rising to £12.93 after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a busy NHS setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Supporting kitchen staff with general catering duties
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are kept tidy
• Washing up and assisting with kitchen cleaning duties
• Adhering to food safety, health and hygiene regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to hospital staff, visitors and patients

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistanton a temp - permanent basis to join the busy catering department at Musgrove Park Hospital. Key Responsibilities
