Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the Main Kitchen at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital. The role covers 30 hours per week with two potential shifts, early or late, and includes weekend/bank holiday enhancements.

Work within the Facilities team to prepare meals for inpatients and staff at the hub coffee shop. Full training provided; experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ideally have catering experience but full training will be given.

Job description

Catering Assistant - 30 Hours per week (£13.45 per hour) - plus attractive enhancements for weekend/bank holiday work. We are looking for a Catering Assistant to work in the Main Kitchen as part of the friendly Facilities team at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital. The team provide the meals for the inpatients, as well as sandwiches and snacks for the new Hub Coffee Shop for staff and members of the public. The core operational hours for the kitchen are 07.30 - 18.30, 7 days a week. Please note this will either be an early or late shift. Monday to Thursday Early shift: 07.30 -13.30, Friday late shift: 12.00 - 18.30 Ideally they will have Catering experience but full training will be given. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and friendly, who is willing to learn and flexible to help cover additional shifts when necessary.
