Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Assistant at HMPPS Newbold Revel in Rugby. You’ll support efficient, high-quality food services and create a positive experience for everyone on shift.

The role is 26 hours per week with shift times Mon 9-2 and Tue-Thu 6:30-14:00. £13.11 per hour. On-site parking, uniform and training provided; own transport advised due to timings.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
• Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to the rotation of stock.
• Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations, ensuring an efficient service operation.
• Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
• Previous catering experience is desirable.

• Monday 9am-2pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 6.30am-2pm (4 days in total)
• £13.11 per hour

• Please be aware that the site is remote and own transport is desirable. Public transport is not an option for the timings of this shift.
