Catering Assistant - Stockton on Tees (TS16 0QB) - Immediate Start - Leading Employer - Temporary Contract

Are you an experienced catering assistant seeking employment? Are you hardworking, reliable, and interested in working with a leading employer?

Our prominent Facilities Management client is looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team in Stockton on Tees (TS16 0QB).

We offer weekly pay, with a minimum rate of GBP 12.93 per hour. The working hours are from 08:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. An Basic DBS Check is required. The start date is ASAP for a temporary position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and control of the Catering Service in compliance with Equans Food Safety Management System.
2. Preparation and delivery of food and beverages according to customer contractual requirements.
3. Supervisory management of the Catering Operatives.
4. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as determined and agreed with the Facility's Manager.
5. 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday (negotiable).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge of cooking theory, demonstrating good practical cooking techniques.
• Previous experience in a similar catering environment and supervising a catering team.
• Understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Ideally hold or be working towards Food Safety Level 3 Certificate.
• Ideally hold or be working towards HACCP Level 3 Certificate.
• Ideally hold IOSH Supervising Safety (not mandatory).
• Ideally hold a current First Aid qualification (not mandatory).
