Job summary

King Edward VII School is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our dedicated catering team, delivering a high-quality, nutritious and welcoming food service for our pupils.

The post is 22.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2:00pm, at the Lower School site on Darwin Lane. It is a permanent contract, Grade 1 - Pts 3, with £25,948 per annum pro rata including the Living Wage Supplement (£13,223 actual salary).

Qualifications

Role

Catering Assistant

Grade 1 - Pts 3 £25,948 per annum, pro rata including the Living Wage Supplement (£13,223 actual salary)

• Serving students at break and lunch times.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, including daily washing up and working as part of a team to clean all kitchen and service areas.
• Assisting with periodic deep cleaning of food preparation areas.
• Operating an electronic till system and undertake cash handling as and when required.
• Supervision of students in the dining hall.
