Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant at Melwood Grange Care Home in Royston, Hertfordshire. You will assist with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, creating a welcoming dining experience that supports residents’ health, wellbeing and dignity.

We offer 10–20 hours per week with weekend enhancements, full training from day one, and a supportive team across our care homes in the region.

Qualifications

• Team-focused attitude and good communication skills
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided
• Familiarity with hygiene standards
• Reliability and good Customer Service skills
• A positive, caring and compassionate attitude
• Ability to follow Chefs' instructions

Responsibilities

Contract: Part Time - Perm / Flexible hours also available - Temp

Hour: 10 - 20 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour weekdays & £13.21 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 9am to 5pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends/ Shift times can vary

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming team at Melwood Grange Care Home in Royston. A luxury, 73 bed purpose-built care home set in the Hertfordshire countryside, Melwood Grange offers exceptional care in stylish surroundings, with premium facilities including a cinema, café, hair and beauty salon, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents health, wellbeing and dignity.

What You'll Bring
