Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join Pinewood Lodge in South Oxhey, Watford. You’ll help prepare and serve nutritious meals and contribute to a welcoming dining experience that supports residents’ health and dignity.

This full-time, permanent role offers 35–37 hours a week with weekday and weekend shifts. You’ll work in a newly equipped kitchen as Pinewood Lodge relocates to Furzewood Lodge. Training is provided, with an emphasis on hygiene, teamwork and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Team-focused attitude and good communication skills.
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided.
• Familiarity with hygiene standards.
• Reliability and good Customer Service skills.
• A positive, caring and compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow Chefs' instructions.

The modern facility has been thoughtfully designed to provide an excellent working environment and will include a newly fitted, fully equipped commercial kitchen.

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents health, wellbeing and dignity.

What You’ll Bring
