Job summary

Quantum Care's Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming team. This luxury 75-bed home provides residential, dementia and respite care, with dining that supports residents' health and dignity.

You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, assist residents at mealtimes, maintain high hygiene standards and support the kitchen team with cleaning and stock duties.

Qualifications

• Team-focused attitude and good communication skills.
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided.
• Familiarity with hygiene standards.
• Reliability and good customer service skills.
• Positive, caring and compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow Chefs' instructions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and serving of meals.
• Assisting residents with dining needs where required.
• Follow high standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
• Support the kitchen team with cleaning and washing duties.
• Supporting with stock and storage.
• Follow any other task requirements from the Chefs.
