Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Catering Assistant at John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington, Oxford. This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week, offering a friendly hospital dining environment and the chance to work as part of a dedicated team.

You will prepare and maintain dining areas, serve food, wash dishes, keep areas clean, and handle cash. Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates are preferred; training is provided if not held.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
• Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
