Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting for a permanent cleaning role at Hillsborough Castle, Down. The position offers £12.71 per hour for around 10 hours per week with benefits and a supportive team environment.

You will work with a small team, ensure equipment cleanliness and safety, follow training and safety protocols, and provide reliable service across the site to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Open, honest, self-driven and determined.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and use cleaning equipment/chemicals correctly.
• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and can work under their own initiative.
• Build positive relationships with customers and deliver excellent customer service.

What You Will Do As a Cleaner

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs
• Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements
• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role
• Work within a team and can work under their own initiative
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
