Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Catering Assistant at John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington, Oxford. The position is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) with a salary of £23,195.81 per year.

Responsibilities include maintaining service areas, serving meals, cleaning, cash handling, and delivering excellent customer service. Relevant Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates; training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates required or training provided.
• Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and strong organisational and time management skills.
