Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Catering Assistant for the B&Q Distribution Centre in Doncaster. This permanent, full-time role offers 25 hours per week with Sunday 9.30am–2.30pm and Monday–Thursday 2:00pm–7:00pm shifts. Pay is £12.74 per hour.

You will prepare dining areas, serve food, clean regularly, and handle cash with accuracy. We welcome candidates with catering experience and basic Food Hygiene/Health & Safety certs (training provided if needed).

Contract: Permanent

Type: Full time

Hours: 25 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Sunday (9.30am to 2.30pm) / Monday -Thursday (2:00pm to 7:00pm)

Pay: £12.74 per hour

Location: B&Q, Distribution Centre, Rockingham Way, Redhouse Interchange, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England DN6 7FB

Role Responsibilities

What we're looking for:

• Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
• Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
