Job summary

NTW Solutions Limited is recruiting at St Nicholas Hospital to join the Catering Department as a Catering Assistant. The role involves basic food preparation, packing and cleaning within a chilled environment, with manual handling duties including deliveries.

You will work in a ward environment to regenerate patients' meals. The position is 37.5 hours per week, on a shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00, five days across Monday to Sunday with two days off.

• Ability to perform manual handling and assist with deliveries.

We are recruiting to the Team at St Nicholas Hospital to work within our friendly Catering Department.

This post is offered at - 37.50 hours per week

Shift pattern between 06:00am to 18:00pm, working 5 days per week, Monday - Sunday, with 2 days off.

Main duties of the job

Basic food preparation/ packing and cleaning duties within a chilled environment.

Manual handling duties to include excepting and putting deliveries away, collecting items to prep & pack within a walk in freezer, chilled environment

Candidate will be expected to work within a chilled and freezer environment

Regeneration of patients food in a ward environment
