Job summary

Wilson Vale is currently recruiting a Catering Assistant for our workplace restaurant in London, N1C. The role runs 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, on site. You will assist with food preparation, beverage service and customer-facing duties while upholding high standards of hygiene.

We seek a positive, reliable team member; barista or catering experience helps, but full training is provided. A supportive environment and strong work-life balance accompany this position.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is positive, honest, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Previous barista or catering experience is desirable, but training will be provided.
• We provide buffet breakfast and lunch with hot and cold options and a barista coffee service.

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in London, N1C.

40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We are looking for a General Catering Assistant, with a particular focus on Barista Coffee Service, to join our friendly and hardworking team.

The ideal candidate will be positive, honest, reliable, and enthusiastic, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Previous barista or catering experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

We provide a Buffet breakfast and lunch with hot and cold options, artisan sandwich bar, seasonal salad table, barista style coffee bar for our clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment


• Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment


• Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety


• Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy


• Have excellent customer service and social skills


• Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff


• Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 5


• Be customer focused


• Have basic food knowledge


• Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
