Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at Mid Kent College in Kent. The role is permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 10:30am to 5:30pm, term-time only (35 weeks).

You’ll produce food to spec, keep on top of menu items, manage production to minimize waste, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and support a busy service. Training is provided with potential progression within Aramark.

Qualifications

• Food hygiene certificate – Level 2.
• Barista experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets.
• Full knowledge of all menu items served.
• Management of production to ensure minimal wastage.
• Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods.
• Maintenance of food quality and brand standards.
• Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with Aramark requirements.
• Capturing and recording all volumes consumed and overproduction.
• Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists.
