Job summary

Aramark are recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at Alsager School, Alsager, Cheshire. You will support basic food preparation, serve meals to pupils and staff, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area during term-time.

Working 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a friendly school catering team with onsite parking, you will benefit from training, progression opportunities, and a supportive environment within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving food and beverages to pupils, staff, and visitors
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Washing up and supporting general kitchen duties
• Replenishing food counters and service areas
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the catering team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the service

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Alsager
School, Alsager, Cheshire, ST7 2HR. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendlyand enthusiastic individual to become part of a busy school catering team, helping toprovide excellent food and customer service to pupils and staff.
