Hours of work: 6 hours per day, four days on, four days off, between 5.30am - 8.15pm.
As a catering assistant, you will work in the hospital’s busy kitchen as part of a large team to maintain a clean and safe environment and assist in plating patient meals. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team, follow instructions, and have good communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, but full training will be provided.
