Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Cwmbran High School, NP44 4YZ. This permanent, on-site role at a school involves serving meals, basic food prep, and cash handling within a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following brand standards and portioning.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services including hot sandwiches.
• Take payment and keep financial records as required.
• Restock goods and ensure display of merchandise.
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery as trained.
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas.
• Report feedback, complaints, stock needs, faults or hazards to line manager.
• Keep daily paperwork and records as required.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at Cwmbran High School – NP44 4YZ.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot sandwiches in line with Aramark brand standards
• Take payment and keep financial records as required
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the work day
• Perform daily paper/computer work she/he is assigned
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
