Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting two Mobile Catering Assistants to join the team at NESCOT College, KT17 3DS. You will serve food and beverages, assist with simple hot/cold food preparation, take payments, restock displays, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety on site.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, 32 hours per week, during 8am–4pm, term-time only (36 weeks). Aramark offers apprenticeship schemes, training, and opportunities for internal progression, with free parking on shift

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following brand standards.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services.
• Take payment and keep financial records as required.
• Restock goods and ensure proper displays.
• Clean back of house areas and equipment as trained.
• Maintain counter, display areas and dining area cleanliness.
• Report feedback, stock needs, faults or hazards to the line manager.
• Complete daily paperwork as assigned.
• Keep diligent records as required.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot sandwiches in line with Aramark brand standards
• Take payment and keep financial records as required
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the workday
• Perform daily paper/computer work she/he is assigned
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
