Your #FutureInSight with EssilorLuxottica

Are you willing to pioneer new frontiers, foster inclusivity and collaboration, embrace agility, ignite passion, and make a positive impact on the world? Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible.

Your role:

Counting on EssilorLuxottica’s 60+ years of eyewear excellence, Nuance Audio combines sound engineering and world-class smart eyewear design for a stylish, high-tech solution engineered to transform lives.

Nuance Audio integrates advanced AI-powered audio technology into eyewear solutions. This innovative product targets individuals with mild hearing loss and offers a unique, lifestyle-enhancing experience by combining cutting-edge audio technology with our comprehensive lens portfolio.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Category Specialist - Audiology to support the launch of our new category, Nuance Audio, which integrates cutting-edge AI-powered audio technology targeting individuals with mild hearing loss. As a global leader in eye care and eyewear, EssilorLuxottica is uniquely positioned to introduce Nuance Audio not as a standalone product but as part of a complete pair solution, leveraging our comprehensive lens portfolio—from single-vision to progressive lenses. This role is instrumental in driving the market strategy, messaging, and go-to-market execution for Nuance Audio.

As a Category Specialist - Audiology, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful launch and adoption of Nuance Audio across key markets. You will work at the intersection of audiology, product marketing, and consumer insights, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders—including R&D, marketing, sales, and training teams—to drive awareness and category adoption.

Main responsibilities:

  • Product & Market Expertise
  • Act as the technical expert for Nuance Audio, translating complex audiological and acoustic concepts into compelling, consumer-friendly messaging.
  • Partner with R&D, product development, and engineering teams to ensure the audio technology is optimized for diverse user needs.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in hearing solutions, AI-driven audio technology, and consumer audio preferences to refine the product positioning.
  • Go-to-Market & Commercialization
  • Develop market education programs, sales tools, and training materials to equip internal teams and retail partners with strong product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to shape a compelling value proposition and ensure its effective communication across B2B and B2C channels.
  • Support the development of pricing, bundling, and promotional strategies, ensuring Nuance Audio’s seamless integration into EssilorLuxottica’s eyewear and lens offerings.
  • Engage with audiologists, opticians, and industry experts to build credibility and drive category acceptance.
  • Conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops to elevate awareness and adoption of Nuance Audio.
  • Gather market feedback, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine the product and strategy.

Main requirements:

  • Background in audiology, acoustics, audio engineering, hearing sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in audiology, hearing technology, or consumer audio solutions (experience in wearable technology or assistive listening devices is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered audio processing, speech enhancement, and adaptive noise control.
  • Proven track record in market activation, product training, or go-to-market execution in a healthcare, tech, or consumer electronics setting.
  • Ability to bridge technical and commercial disciplines—comfortable working with R&D teams while also engaging with sales and marketing stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of simplifying complex audio concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience delivering training and educational programs for sales teams, opticians, or healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret market trends and consumer insights.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of navigating a new and evolving category.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and improving quality of life through meaningful solutions.

If you are an audio professional with a passion for innovation and a knack for turning complex technology into compelling solutions, we encourage you to apply and join our mission to redefine hearing and vision care.
