BSS is seeking a Category Manager for Pumps & Pumping equipment at the Magna Park Office in Lutterworth. This hybrid role combines head office collaboration with several days on site and two days at home, supporting category strategies and driving product innovation and trading margins across our formidably networked branches.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in plumbing and heating or merchanting environment.
• Experience in commercial category management or sales / customer facing role.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review trading performance and identify opportunities and actions.
• Deliver category pricing and range reviews to optimise performance.
• Define supply base strategy and manage supplier relationships for max return.
• Lead negotiations of key supplier trading agreements and input rebates.
• Develop cross-functional relations across brands and the TP Group.
