Job Purpose

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is the ice cream category leader, responsible for delivering best-in-class category leadership across the UK market, driving insight-led growth, and building trust with customers. The candidate will build and maintain credible, long-term relationships internally and externally, acting as the voice of the customer, consumer, and shopper to deliver actionable insights that create category value.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with key customer contacts, delivering category growth recommendations.
  • Translate insights into actions through analysis and evaluation of category plans, including seasonal range reviews.
  • Utilize data sources like Nielsen, Kantar, and retailer loyalty data to generate recommendations.
  • Create tailored category strategies based on consumer and shopper insights.
  • Use space planning tools to analyze and recommend merchandising strategies.
  • Support and develop the category management team.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, shopper, and consumer within the organization.
About You
  • Deep industry knowledge, including trade classes, customer groups, and industry trends.
  • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong project management and planning skills.
