We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to join our team! You'll collaborate closely with various internal departments including Store Operations, Logistics, Commercial/Buying and Marketing & Merchandising, as well as vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products while maintaining optimal inventory levels to deliver availability while controlling waste and shrinkage.

Here's What You'd Be Doing

• Build and sustain effective relationships with our supplier network.
• Produce detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities, along with analytical support in the development of category plans.
• Develop and execute a clear assortment strategy to fit our on-demand delivery convenience offering.
• Analyse company data and external market data to determine key trends to drive category strategies
• Engage with new businesses to increase brand awareness and product range
• Work with internal teams across marketing, social, product and partnerships to optimise our customer offering, increase brand investments and hit company targets along with brand growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years category management/buying experience in Grocery
• Creative problem solver with an eye for detail
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven experience of outstanding negotiation and procurement practices to achieve cost savings
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
