Bestway Wholesale Limited is recruiting a Category Manager to drive category plans for Bestway Foodservice and Caterers. You will manage ranging, pricing strategy, supplier relationships and promotional planning while mentoring Category Assistants and delivering profitable outcomes.

The role requires significant FMCG/Wholesale experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant FMCG Wholesale or Foodservice experience, incl. buying or category management.
• Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Numerate with data analysis experience.
• Proven ability to develop category strategy and promotional plans.
• Resilience, tenacity and drive for commercially successful outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Deliver category plans to maximise sales and profit for Bestway Foodservice and Caterers.
• Develop and implement category strategy, pricing and ranging.
• Manage supplier relationships and Joint Business Plans.
• Lead promotional planning and secure income for marketing/media support.
• Mentor Category Assistants and oversee category activities.
• Analyse promotional effectiveness and forecast performance.
