Job Description: We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Category Development & Trade Marketing Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role in the Away From Home business will be responsible for generating and capturing opportunities with the National Wholesalers and Cash & Carry within our Route-to-Market channel. It will involve a blend of Category Development responsibilities—such as providing range, display, and RGM strategies externally—and Trade Marketing responsibilities—such as executing category-driving brand activations and B2B initiatives aimed at independent operators. The role requires a customer-centric mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders through data-to-insight. Significant time will be spent externally with wholesale customers to understand their business, category dynamics, and customers, balanced with internal responsibilities related to strategy creation and stakeholder management.

What you'll do:

  1. Category Development: Lead category insights for our customers, focusing primarily on Bidfood, Booker, and Brakes, with secondary focus on major Buying Groups in Regional Wholesale.
  2. Trade Marketing: Serve as the link between core brand plans (local and global) and RTM trade marketing plans.
  3. Trade Marketing: Develop materials and 360-degree selling tools for Sales to execute in trade.
  4. Internal (Trade Marketing): Lead execution of JBP-invested (D&A) branded activations in RTM.
  5. Internal (Category Development): Manage category data, insights, and RGM evaluations.

What you'll need:

Education & Experience
  • 5+ years in Sales, Category Development, and/or Trade Marketing.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of food & beverage dynamics in the AFH channel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Highly proficient in data analytics and familiar with Cat Dev data and reporting tools, e.g., Circana.
  • Strong understanding of operator behavior and translating marketing plans into trade plans.
