Clyde & Co, in Manchester, seeks an Associate (2–5 PQE) to join the Catastrophic Injury team. You will manage a busy caseload of multi-track EL/PL claims, including catastrophic and large loss matters for insurer and corporate clients.

The role involves supporting partners on complex cases, drafting pleadings and statements, liaising with counsel and experts, and contributing to business development and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2–5 years’ PQE.
• Experience handling Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims.
• Experience with multi-track litigation, including catastrophic or large loss matters.
• Strong technical ability and proactive case management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset.

Responsabilités

• Managing a caseload of complex EL/PL claims, including catastrophic and large loss matters.
• Assisting partners and senior lawyers on high-value, technically challenging cases.
• Conducting liability investigations and quantum assessments.
• Instructing and liaising with counsel, experts and other stakeholders.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other legal documentation.
• Supporting clients with strategic case management and early resolution strategies.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
• Contributing to team knowledge sharing and business development initiatives.
